Steelux Modern Furniture brochure: early 1960s.

W. Steel & Co Ltd moved from Clerkenwell to Robinson Road, Bethnal Green in 1936. Their Post Office Directory entries indicate that they made steel spring mattresses until 1960 when they started making tubular steel furniture. They were at Robinson Road and later also at Palmers Road, Bethnal Green until 1982.
